Where it started
Oowlish was founded by Dave Martin and Fernando Pascua, and today is chaired by Brock Weatherup, one of the most accomplished operators in pet tech. Together, the three co-founded PetCoach, one of the first pet telehealth and content platforms in the US, backed by Comcast Ventures and Maveron and acquired by Petco in 2017.
Between them, this team has led or built some of the most consequential companies in the pet industry, across retail, health, veterinary services, and digital platforms. That operator DNA is embedded in how Oowlish works with every pet client.

Featured work
Embedded in Petco’s innovation team for half a decade. We built their new POS, launched Rx services, Membership and Wellness Plans, migrated to headless e-commerce, built grooming and vet booking, launched In-Home Services, and led multiple data harmonization initiatives.
We co-built GreatPet Care from scratch: a large-scale pet health editorial site, a consumer app for pet medical records, and a D2C health supplement store. Post-acquisition by Covetrus, we led the redesign of the Pulse PMS and integrated acquired systems.
We participated in the core development of Rhapsody (now Petabyte), a cloud-native Practice Management Solution for veterinary clinics. The platform was acquired by Chewy as a strategic asset in their vet services expansion.
TrustedHouseSitters
Oowlish serves as the preferred technology partner for TrustedHouseSitters, the world’s largest pet sitting and boarding platform, with 10 dedicated engineers embedded in their product team.
Bomi is Oowlish’s own pet health and safety platform. An AI-powered GPS collar combining real-time location tracking, continuous health monitoring, and predictive insights. Built entirely in-house — we bet on pet with our own capital and team.
Kiwoko is the largest pet retail chain in Spain. We built their mobile app from scratch, integrating loyalty, e-commerce, and vet services into a single consumer experience. The app has surpassed 500,000 downloads and is a core part of their omnichannel strategy.
Oowlish has been with us from day one at Great Pet Care, taking our initial idea and transforming it into a thriving platform that ultimately led to a successful exit. Even now, as part of a larger corporation, they remain our trusted tech and product partner.
